We use a combination of Heggerty, Really Great Reading, and REWARDS.

Step-up:

This was created with students in mind who need to refine, strengthen, or retain grade level information throughout the summer. We collaborated with teachers from each grade level on which skills are most essential and what misconceptions students have typically. We found that programs tend to be full year curricula or intervention, so we have materials pulled from several resources to create a cohesive review/reteach of skills for each grade.

Our adventure and interest in the science of reading all began from a podcast called “Sold a Story.” This podcast will give the background of how we as a country missed the mark on literacy and how we can right this mistake.
